Good evening,

Windsor-Essex is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 today. Seven of the cases are close contacts of a positive case, two are from workers in the agri-farm sector, and three are under investigation. The new total of confirmed cases is 2,489. Of the total confirmed cases, 26 percent are between the ages of 20-29 and 23 percent are between the ages of 30-39. About 800 people were tested at the St. Clair College Sportsplex earlier this week.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has released a webpage specifically to teach children about proper hygiene and physical distancing as parents prepare for kids returning to school. The website can be found here:
